Just completed upgrading to WordPress 1.5.1 …very easy upgrade process….again, convincing me that WordPress was a good choice. I had previously been a fan of MoveableType and had subscribed to TypePad but disliked the charges associated with it. While I do have an old bias for Perl-based systems such as MoveableType, I find that the php approach of WordPress is quite solid. Of course, it really doesn´t matter rather it´s perl or php, especially at the user level…either system could be developed in either language. But, WordPress seems to be gathering a lot of momentum this year. Okay, now to upgrade my baires.elsur.org blog.
